LASH FAQ
BROW FAQ
WAX FAQ
HOW LONG WILL MY LASH LIFT AND TINT LAST?
A lash lift and tint will generally last as long as the natural growth cycle of your eyelash: about four to six weeks. It’s important to follow our aftercare guidelines as this will help keep them looking fresh for as long as possible.
DO I NEED TO REMOVE MY EYE MAKEUP BEFORE MY LASH LIFT AND TINT?
Yes. Please prepare for your esthetics appointment by removing all eye makeup, contact lenses, and false eyelashes. If you have lash extensions, these will have to be removed by your lash provider prior to your appointment with us.
HOW LONG DOES A LASH LIFT AND TINT TAKE?
This treatment runs about 30-45 minutes.
CAN I SWIM WITH A LASH LIFT AND TINT?
It is important not to expose your lashes to excessive steam or water within the first 48 hours of treatment. Water is a natural exfoliant and the more you cleanse the lash area or wet them, the quicker the tint will fade and the lash lift solution will breakdown.
WHAT SHOULD I CLEANSE MY LASHES WITH?
We carry lash and brow cleanser in studio. Our cleansers are gentle and oil-free so they do not assist in the breakdown of a lift or tint. Our cleansers are also safe for lash extensions.
WHY DID MY LASHES FALL?
While uncommon, a few probable causes for this could be the type of cleanser and/or cosmetics being used, too hot of showers, sleeping on your sides, excessive sweating, and/or exposure to steam.
CAN I RECEIVE A SPRAY TAN THE SAME DAY AS MY LIFT?
While our sunless solutions are not a contraindication with a lash lift, having to rinse off your bronzer within the 24-48 hours of receiving your lash service is a cause for concern. It is important not to expose your lashes to excessive steam or water within the first 24-48 hours of treatment. Water is a natural exfoliant and the more you cleanse the lash area or wet them, the quicker the tint will fade and the lash lift solution will breakdown. Any steam from a lukewarm shower will result in your lashes losing their lift.
HOW LONG WILL MY BROW LAMINATION AND TINT LAST?
Generally, brow lamination lasts from six to eight weeks, while a brow tint can last anywhere from two to four weeks.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE THE TYPE OF BROWS THAT CAN RECEIVE A BROW LAMINATION?
We can accommodate all brow types. Before your appointment begins, you will have a consultation with your esthetician to determine all risks and discuss desired results.
CAN I SWIM WITH A BROW LAMINATION AND TINT?
It is important not to expose your brows to excessive steam or water within the first 24 hours of treatment. After wetting the brow hairs (after the first 24-48 hours), it is necessary to gently brush them back into place. Water is a natural exfoliant and the more you cleanse the brow area or wet them, the quicker the tint will fade.
WHAT SHOULD I CLEANSE MY BROWS WITH?
We carry lash and brow cleanser in studio. Our cleansers are gentle and oil free so they do not assist in the breakdown of a lamination or tint.
WHICH BROW SERVICES CAN I RECEIVE AT THE SAME APPOINTMENT AS MY SPRAY TAN?
Both The Shape and The Tint are safe to receive at the same time as your tan appointment. However, we recommend receiving services including a brow lamination to be scheduled either post rinse from your tanning service or 24 hours prior to your tanning service to ensure the best results.
CAN I RECEIVE A FACE AND/OR UNDERARM WAX THE SAME DAY AS MY SPRAY TAN?
Yes. Our wax is tan-safe and we use aftercare products to aid in protection of your skin but your wax service should be scheduled and received prior to your spray tan service. We also offer a tweeze only shaping option for brows.
DO YOU OFFER FULL-BODY WAXING?
At this time we only offer facial and underarm waxing.
